Crohn's disease effects the digestive tract. It is an inflammatory disease and can cause diarrhea and problems in digestion which make it difficult from Crohn's disease to process food. Crohn's can also cause hemorrhoids, anemia and problems with the colon. Crohn's disease is one of the two types of chronic idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), the other being ulcerative colitis. It can affect anywhere from mouth to anus and the cause is yet unknown. Perhaps it is multiple diseases lumped into one.
